    About Terrie

Screen Shot 2018 05 06 at 8.44.10 AMTerrie is a Master’s level registered clinical social worker (#1537) who has worked for over 20 years with diverse people across different settings. Saskatchewan is home for Terrie growing up on a farm near Moose Jaw but she also experienced southern Alberta, northern Ontario and British Columbia before returning. Her travels lead her to connect with First Nations communities in beautiful Northern Ontario, RCMP officers and new comers in British Columbia and families as the Director of Brief and Family Therapy for the Prince Albert Health Region.

Terrie moved to Saskatoon in 2007 to complete a second Master’s in Community Health and Epidemiology and worked with the young adult population as the Manager of the Student Counselling Centre at the University of Saskatchewan.

Terrie’s training and travels lead her to develop culturally sensitive practices that come from a person and strength-based orientation with a family and system perspective. Terrie’s authenticity and ability to connect with a range of people and circumstances is one of her greatest strengths. Terrie is constantly amazed by the power of human connection, the stories of clients and the resilience they’ve shown.
